Celebrate your connected Ora 03! Because here in Brazil, they delivered it to us without 4G connection and without an app. Yep, we've got a beautiful offline car, and all we can do is feel a tiny bit envious of the European/British Ora. Cheers!

Hello Gary, I couldn't be sure - I recall seeing v1.0 on the screen but I only had the car for one week. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.

Thanks for the video. Where does the car get data from? Is it from the cellphone or where do you put a SIM card on it ?
@Sasdhdjirn8 ай бұрын
I see you said there’s a SIM built in. Where does that go? Mine doesn’t seem to be installed but I got it in Mexico.

Hey 👋 I believe the Ora 03 has an integrated eSIM, best to check with them though.

Tesla show consumption in Wh/mile also... they say it makes more sense. Lower is better!... to convert take the wh/mile figure e.g. 250 and dividei it into 1000. So 250 hw/mile = 4 miles/kwh. The Ora Emergency Lane Keeping IS dangerous... it does not like roads that are not straight and have different road-markings e.g. a countryh lane may have a solid white line on left to demark where the curb would be. It steers TOWARDS this line, and thinks you're over the line in the centre of the road. Ona short dirve it can do this 10-15 times, anbd bings at you constantly. If you turn it off, it comes back on on startup because the EU NCap 5 star rating says it must!... it's annoying and dengerous. I wonde rif anyone at NCap actually drives these cars?!? - You can NOW disable it on the swipe-down menu you showed on the infotainment screen - but it;s not obvious (ELK on/off toggle, so they do KNOW about it)... but, you still have to remember to. It needs a deicated button. Also dangerous: the power-down button (electric) cut-off... can be pressed WHILE the car is in motion!... considering it is near the dirving mode button this is highly dangerous. The car will power down and stop immediatley! - take tha button away and change it to ELK on.off. Put the power-down in the screen controls... you only need it very rarely. Also annoying on this car is adjusting the aircon temperature is a faff... the controls (in fact many icons on th escreen) are too small. they shoudl habve gone with phycail knows... but at leats they should make them bigger and on-screen always, so e don;t have to go into the aircon menu. EV charging cable - you DON'T GET a Type 2 cable wiht the car, only a Granny cable. they will seell you a type 2 for £210 + vat. It shoudl be the other way around.. a granny cable is not for serious EV drivers and costs more to manufacture. Also the EV it won't let you remove the EV charging cable and there is no charge-port unlock button (even on the app). I found you have to lock the car and unlock it again to remove it. So if you're return to your car you have to unlock - lock - unlock... only then will it release the cable. Overall it's a nice drive, and lot sof tech for ht emoney.. but has a number of really annoying traits.
