Thanks Kenny! The first time they tried it I'd say it was humbling for them lol. They eventually started slower inputs and somewhat holding a pattern. Keeps me on my toes trying to correct some of the situations they were getting it into haha

Yes! You guys did Great! I've been eyeing a plane from horizon hobbies, thinking it would be a good one to teach myself on, has the three modes on it.😉👍

Nice! Which one is it?
@poppysrcandmodels7 жыл бұрын
It's the Carbon Cub S+. Looks to me to be a good first plane. Horizon Hobby sells it.

That would be a good one to learn on. That Timber one would be decent as well. Actually I saw the cub s the other day and saw a beginner flying it. He did pretty good and the plane looks pretty good from what I can tell.

Much better flying this time..hmmhmm..i never tried an airplane so i don`t know but seems like you`re in control...nice landing..
@RCArsenal7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I did the landing and would correct it when they get it out of control. Vid was really short cause when they had it they were a little too aggressive and the plane was jerking around a lot..which made the vid really shaky.

Of course we all know that it's not the flying but the landing thats the hard part. lol :)
@RCArsenal7 жыл бұрын
Lol very true! I'll keep landing it for them until I'm comfortable with their skills. Saves me some time and money to rebuild all the carnage that could happen haha

What's a buddy cord?
@RCArsenal7 жыл бұрын
It's where you can link two transmitters up for one plane. Well with the older FM radios it was a physical cord. The the 2.4 transmitters they can link without a physical cord. So with this setup or trying to teach my kids I can flip a switch on the master transmitter (mine) and it gives the secondary transmitter control of the airplane. If the kids get in trouble I can flip a switch and retake control of the airplane to correct it. It's a great option if you're teaching folks without learning the hard way with all the crashes. When I was learning I crashed everything alot lol.
