That lost pond got me thinking. in 1966 i was at Winchcombe secondary school and recall as part of a nature class was tasked with building a pond. it was located in a field off to the left of the tunnel ( Winchcombe side ). could it be the same one i wonder ? i was twelve then, seventy now. happy days.
