Bear McCreary did such a wonderful job of making the drums show strength and power, while making the flutes and violins show elegance and love - and then there's the chanting I can't comprehend why they did not use it. There was an early version of Queen of the Monsters that chanted her name too. They said there were already too many voices in all the other themes, but I would argue hers would be the one that would make the most sense to have them No matter what, whenever I listen to her KOTM themes I get chills all over

You'll be disappointed if you go for her tho, they misused her a lot and made her just half of an aerial support. She has 1 minute and a half of screentime and half of that is shared with a human that took her spotlight (Jia)

The Godzilla x Kong movies are just popcorn flicks, they have no plot other than what's barely necessary, the pace of a TikTok video, and no thought put into the lore. Minor spoilers - but how would the Iwi know about Skull Island if they were isolated in the deepest parts of the Hollow Earth, for example? Why does Mothra need a human to be reborn when she never needed one before? The immortal reincarnating DEITY needs help from mortals? Come on, Wingard I'm happy the next movie will have different writers, a different director and a focus on Godzilla (which will then also focus on Mothra. Hard to have the King without the Queen) I'm holding on to hope, friend. I really am

Case in point, he stayed by Ghidorah's side and ran interference on Mothra to keep Godzilla and Ghidorah's fight a fair duel. Now, with Ghidorah dead, and Godzilla having executed Scylla and Tiamat for getting froggy and gaining power to usurp him, he would know to bow his head to the King & Queen of the Monsters.

I'm actually fine with the new Mothra theme, but the KOTM version is still superior because it just sounds so regal and elegant which really fits the Queen of the Monsters.

Wingard seemed to forget the Chen sisters even exist. I understand the need to separate Mothra's worshipping priestesses from two scientists who could have a difficult time coming to terms with a being's undescribable divinity - but come on. The Chen sisters are already established to be Mothra's Shobijin in the Monsterverse, shouldn't they at least be mentioned? But since the Iwi are mute, if we ever get to see a singing scene (Possibly in the context of a lullaby), then the Chen sisters will be the ones singing for sure

How did mothra’s egg get from a waterfall at the end of kotm to being in hollow earth

It's been implied by the director of KOTM that she has multiple eggs hidden everywhere. So since she was established in this movie as protector of the Iwi from Hollow Earth, she also laid eggs in there. This is not an egg tho, it's a cocoon, and old as hell as said in the novelization, Wingard took some liberties to make Mothra skip the egg phase it seemed

She is always her own mother because she lays her own eggs that she is then reborn in.
