György Kurtág - Stele, Op.33 (Audio + Full Score)

The third movement is a revelation every time I hear it! The third movement is an orchestration of a piano piece from the 'Jatekok' piano series - "in memoriam András Mihály" from volume 6. Given that "stele" has some association of 'column' or 'stone,' I wonder whether there is a latent association with a piece like "Grabstein für Stephan"

I definitely hear the similarity between that movement and Grabstein für Stephan, they have a similar atmosphere. (The score video of GfS is scheduled for later today)
