Great motovlog and congratulations on the baby! My wife had my baby girl almost 8 years ago and we tried for a second child for over 6 years and then it finally happened basically unexpected but we were shocked and super excited to get blessed with a second child. Life is like a box of chocolates I guess lol.

What kind of fuel do you use in your Rocket? I just found a gas station with REC 90 Ethanol free gasoline, a little more expensive but I guess it's made for smaller engines. Scooters, boats, small planes etc.
@jmrbuilds3 жыл бұрын
Actually like a month ago I was looking a place to buy REC 90 gasoline but I couldn't find any place here in Savannah, Georgia , I use some 93 octane gasoline with a bottle of STP octane booster, makes the scooter gain like 2 more mph on the top end , but people said using the REC 90 would make motorcycles or even scooters run a little bit faster, I don't really know if thats true but I would like to try it!

@@jmrbuilds I just found it yesterday, I hear it's illegal in a lot of states and it's very hard to find. I live in Pennsylvania and we have a refinery here so I think that's why we have it. It give my scooter a huge boost, has so much more power that it's like a whole different ride 👍

In the same boat as you, paid every 30 days teaching in Asia. to get around this I do Uber eats motovlog on my channel so I'm making money as I motovlog and best part, paid by uber every 2 weeks. Helps out a lot. Still under 1k subs and not making sht LoL How's the reliability of this engine? There's now a 200 model (168cc) and I'm thinking to get it in the states when I return. You don't want 15" wheels or fatty tires trust me. You go from 60mph to 45mph and a much stiffer ride that hurts your back after 1 hour riding. Best upgrade I can recommend since i also scoot on 14" wheels you want these tires called Michelin pilot moto GP 100 80 14 rear and 80 90 14 front they make a world of difference, aren't too pricey, and last about 7000 miles rear and 15000 miles front. I know I have them on my Suzuki here in Asia ; )
@jmrbuilds3 жыл бұрын
Thanks alot for watching brother, yeah getting paid every 30 days really sucks honestly, I was thinking about doing door dash or something like that too just to test the waters, but I wish the best of luck in reaching 1000 subs sooner or later we will get there The scooter is pretty reliable I already have 1,300 miles ,not a single problem so far , the only money I have spent on it is just for the Oil changes wich isn't that bad , the scooter only takes 750 ml of oil , I use 10W40 oil for diesel trucks , I always buy one gallon which is 14 dollars and you can do 5 oil changes in total so each oil change is around $2.80 dollars, but next time I'll service the scooter I will be changing the belt because I feel like is already time to replace it
@jmrbuilds3 жыл бұрын
I will take a look at the michelins , thanks alot

@@jmrbuilds Belts usually last a long time but maybe these Chinese ones quality isn't good. I get about 30k kms or 20 k miles on a belt and change them but they have been known to last up to 40K plus. I hear to keep the engine reliable you need to change to a NGK plug, and switch to better high quality valves, or do constant valve maintenance. Also need to switch the gas lines to a better quality material because the Chinese gas lines rot out fast and cause vacuum leaks and poor running.
@jmrbuilds3 жыл бұрын
@@DeliveryWithShaggy I heard about the fuel lines but I totally forgot about it lol thanks for reminding me, I did check the valve clearence around 800 miles mark but the valves were up to specs. I'll be checking them again when I do the oil and belt replacement, the belt the scooter currently has(original) looks in decent condition but I want to change it to a kevlar belt ( I already have the kevlar belt) I'm just kind of paranoid that the original belt is going to snap and is going to leave me stranded, because like you said, the belt is chinese and the quality might not be the best , so I just rather change it to avoid future problems, also the scooter came with a NKG sparkplug but I don't think is a legit NKG , but I'll be buying one since you mentioned thanks a lot , I'm thinking maybe a iridium sparkplug should do the trick
@DeliveryWithShaggy3 жыл бұрын
@@jmrbuilds I forgot to mention one last thing. Lighter wheels make a huge difference. You can increase top speed by 10mph just by going to lighter wheels, also acceleration improves and so does comfort, suspension soaks up bumps easier, its the biggest mod you can do. for 14" there are a few options. What you can do is get a pit bike 14inch spoke wheel, and take the suspension tubes and brakes to mount to your scooters triple tree head tube. Your wheels like most normal 14inch wheels weight about 3.5-4.5kg each spoke wheels weigh 1.5kg. for the rear you will need to order a rear from phillipines for model honda click, it's a spoke /wire wheel it has a rear drum and is 14" and is pretty much universal will fit any 14" scooter with a rear drum. These two mods will shave 4+-kg of rotational weight and get your cruising speed and top speed up there. I have done this on another scooter and its super fast. it was fast to begin with 75 mph top but now it goes 90mph after the wheel upgrades lol
