As someone who has been in tech for quite a few years now, I was sceptical but thought it might be real. So I went to the site, checked everything and honestly, A LOT of it seemed plausible. The thing is these Boat products aren't too expensive to make and so I thought they're selling it at 0 profit or maybe even some loss for publicity. It's when I clicked on the payment options to check what's up with it, that it fully outed itself as a scam: only card and netbanking options for payment. That is the biggest red flag when shopping on a site that looks iffy. The point of this comment is that anybody can get scammed in this way, especially when these ads are on trusted sites like KZbin. It doesn't matter how tech savvy you are; you probably aren't more tech savvy than a guy who designed a full site that looks convincing or even better than the actual Boat website. The scammer here might be evil, but he/she is not dumb. Very smart, in fact. Everyone should be careful.

I bought a TWS for 500₹ as part of Dussehra sale from an offline shop. Paid in a hurry because I assumed it was genuine and that was the last piece they had. However, I realised instantly that something was wrong, the warranty card and manual had a lot of spelling mistakes, the boat pairing had issues. Stood there for over half an hour before the shop took it back, they refused at first saying that once sold it cannot be taken back. The earbuds were named boAt 151.

I don’t usually comment but this needs to be said. KZbin apparently checks the content of the ads before they go live, however it seems like their internal processes are not capable enough to detect these scams Moreover, another interesting thing is that whenever you turn off ad personalisation and stop giving google more data, these sort of ads become more prominent.

This is what I observed as soon as I came to KZbin back during the pandemic days. That's when these scams were very common in my account. Mostly they showed smartphones claiming several cameras and 128gb internal under 5k. I understood right off what they were. But I have seen people who actually happened to believe them due to lack of knowledge. As always great step towards spreading awareness between masses. 👍

Just a buying tip, when you buy something, first and foremost prioritise the very quality of functionality of the things that you're buying. Me as a musician i will never ever compromise with the audio quality. People say boat earphones are good but the fact is it's not.. The ones who knows about the sound quality the bass treble and the basic things won't go for boats earphones other thing it comes about budget so i understand sometimes we have to compromise..

Rakesh Bhai,I am facing a problem. Maine abhi Redmi note 12 pro buy Kiya tha last month. It supports 67 watt charger. when I connect it to the power source it shows 67 watt max charging, But the phone charges very slow like a normal charger like 33 watt. Can you please confirm the issue if there are other users who are facing this issue. I think this is because of the charger which supports multiple output ranges. Thanks in advance.
