A very Old School and pre Sine wave form of TKD. This Guy is very good at what he does, though if you compare it to Modern ITF, you could cut major holes in what hes doing, as it's worlds apart. I originally trained in a pre Sine Wave TKD Style under one of the Original Masters sent out by General Choi, and spent over 9 years as 1st degree ( you didn't grade to 2nd unless you had been an Instructor for a minimum of 5 years, 2 degree's were rare, and 3rd degree's almost no existent, and there was no one above 3rd. I know of guy's who spent 14 to 15 yrs as 1st degree's who trained 3 times a week, every week. ) not like today where you spend about a year or two on each Black Belt. And the Black Belts back then were earnt with blood sweat and tears, and I really do mean blood. There were No children in our classes back in those days.

Sine wave wasn’t introduced until 1981, there are some schools that pre date it’s implementation, nothing wrong with not using the sine wave when you aren’t calling yourself ITF

@@blackwatertaekwon-do851 Agreed. The sine wave is a ccx relatively new thing and has its serious shortcomings. Tae Kwon Do is a hard style. That is one of several reasons it resembles karate.

It is TKD, if anything MORE traditional that what you see today. Sine wave in the ITF was not introduced until the 80’s, so before then they were doing Shotokan kata and the new ITF forms in a non-bounce fashion. Assuming by your name you’re not even Korean, so what would you know about real TKD anyway?
