In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, equipping Link with the Iron Boots will cause him to move downwards when underwater. This is assumed to be due to the density of the Iron Boots being greater than the density of the water, thus sinking to the bottom and pulling Link along with them. This then raises the question of how they do cause Link to sink in water when in his possession but not equipped, as their presence anywhere on his person should cause the same effect. However, the Iron Boots will also cause Link to fall substantially faster through the air when equipped. This does not mesh with Newton's Second Law of Motion, by which all objects accelerated by gravity fall at the same rate. Therefore, the Iron Boots must be applying some form of downward force to Link when equipped. In this essay I will

ACKSHUALLY, we know for a fact that Link stores his items in an unlimited, other dimensional space. This is known as there is no way Link can contain the items on his person, such as the Ball and Chain. This means he must put them into an interdimensional space, in which time and space are no limitation (as evidenced by lit bombs not exploding within this space).
