I was talking about this taste the other day. People who don’t eat healthy think that food is bland. I’m constantly made fun of for eating healthy and working out, mostly by unhealthy and obese people. It’s bothers me sometimes, but I know I have a better quality of life and have a greater chance to live longer.

It happens to me too. Even people who aren't obese but simply "out of shape" like to speak out little jab negative comments about me being a "health fanatic". I'm nowhere near a fanatic about my health. If these creeps see you move toward health to a much greater degree than they are doing, they get very angry and defensive. Just ignore them, they wish they had what you've got and they're angry that they can't make it happen. They're threatened that you are making it happen. Keep doin' it!

Those people who making fun of it, know how unhealthy they are, that's why they make fun of it, otherwise they couldn't stand the thruth. If they could, they would start to change their life. By making fun they can stay how they are. So don't feel bothered by them. I also was very obese once in my life, also could change my life and lose a lot of weight and doing movement again, quality of life and how oneself feels goes marginaly up. But it also was hard, with high obesive trying todo sport is very hard to overcome, you also feel bad after workout instead of good, it takes time. That's why it is easier to just eat and make fun of other poeple doing silly things. But we don't do things to impresse others, you know how good you feel and how worthwile it can be. You don't need acceptance from other people.

Health and fitness shaming is not what I was expecting, when I got shredded. It's frustrating, but you just have to laugh (in your mind) at the flabby idiots😅

Looking at someone with a,good physique you know that person is dominating SOME area in their life. People tend to treat you a little better and trust you with more responsibility

I always tell people : to have a body like mine at 54 is not all about training , is about lifestyle as a whole. Good eating habits , sleep well, don't stress , positive thinking , be good to others , all this contribute to great mental and physical health. And forget about diets , I have never been on a diet in my life , you have to change the way you live , there's no quick fix or magic pills.

Witnessing my dad have a heart attack when I was 20 years old changed how I looked at health. My whole career I would bring healthy food from home instead of eating out and people always laughed at me for eating so healthy. Seriously. I shrugged it off. Eating right is not a diet. It’s a way of life.

While I workout, my diet is terribad. Oh ... when "they" say you can't out-train a bad diet "they" are wrong. You can out-train a bad diet unless you're an elite athlete but it's not a good idea and you end up paying for it in energy loss and poor recovery. To me, there is something wrong when you eat, which is supposed to replenish your body, but instead end up feeling lethargic and wanting to take a nap. Except Thanksgiving. On that day, it's a sign of success. Not what you should expect if you're refilling the tank. I'm making progress on this front however and what I found is if you stop eating crapola, when you try it again, it doesn't taste the same. Much of it has a bad after taste I never noticed until I stopped living on it. It's amazing what you can adapt to.

Be a realist, of course people make judgments about a person by the way they look. He is not making any negative comments. He is stating the benefits of looking fit.
