A short improvisational loose jam based on Jimi's style and chords to Gypsy Blood. I added drums with my midi kit using Addictive Drums 2 and Wave plugins. Hope you'll enjoy it. THANKS!

It just kills me how you manage to nail that elusive Jimi tone and vibe. I've got a Strat. I've got a Marshall. But I never, ever, manage to get that tone.

Beautiful arrangement of a great song. I'm trying to dive into hendrix on guitar, and I do say, his style is very difficult. Mad respect.

Many players (famous or not) people associate to hendrix a agressive way to play and attack the strings, but the better they get is something like SRV's style. But you play so softly and get so close of Jimi's way. it's incredible!! When i see your videos it seems so easy to play. everything flows so easily. congratulations and sorry the bad english.

Thank Bruno very kind of you :) Yeah Jimi's picking was actually really gentle. I cannot think of an instance on record or video where Jimi was aggressive with the picking hand. Very efficient player.

People in general put Hendrix and SRV in the same cage, and I find it pretty boring the way srv plays it all pounding all over the ropes at the same time. All his followers do that (Kenny Wayne, Mayer, Sayce ...), but Jimi had a way to reach the strings one by one in a hand position that I see you can do and even without the pick.

Bruno Viana I appreciate your comment, i love Jimi's melting liquid tones but I've never really enjoyed Srv's aggressive attack and execution and never understand the comparisons, i think the R&B and Soul background of Jimi's playing is what gives his playing that effortless lyrical quality, i can't get enough of it.

@@TheVibratory I actually realized that when I tried to play 51st anniversary. Anything more than gentle touch just doesn't sound right. The other thing I found out is that you cannot get the right kind of bend if you hit a string with more than 20% picking power.

That is a very good observation. Jimi's style was so fluid and gentle. All of his notes seemed to flow seamlessly, and his music was always so relaxing to listen to. SRV and others, like Mayer etc, are nothing like that. Aggressive style that is less pleasant to listen to. I've not seen or heard anything that comes close to Hendrix. This video is probably about as good and as close as it gets, but it is still a long way off in my opinion. It is extremely good though, and just as good as any of the people I've mentioned. I just think Hendrix had something extra special. Maybe he was an alien.
