Can't wait to see more videos on these cards. They remind me so much of the Vera Sibilla but with fewer cards, no reversals, no playing card associations and no lottery numbers.

I really enjoy your videos! What is the Vera Sibilla Italiana equivalent for the Merriment card? I'm guessing it's either Joy or Joyous Heart, but im not certain. I've checked the WDA files on Facebook, but didn't see anything there. Thanks in advance!

Hi Toni. I know a lot of oracle decks like to use the word gypsy somewhere in the name of their deck for example the gypsy witch fortune telling cards but they seem all different and not standardized like Lenormand or Kipper. Is the gypsy cards you work with the Hungarian version? I notice there was 36 cards in this deck but the Italian Vera Sibilla gypsy oracle cards is 52 cards. They seem very similar but one is from Central Europe and the other one is from Italy.
@TheCardGeek4 жыл бұрын
The “standard” gypsy card deck is taken to the the Piatnik Zigeunerkarten which have remained unchanged and are still available to buy - the other decks are usually a mixed version - Sibilla is a different system as is Gypsy Witch

Love your deck!! Is it common to confuse Hope and Desire and how do we tell them apart?
@TheCardGeek5 жыл бұрын
The Fortune Tellers Society great question and when I watched back I realized I should have said (like I did with theft versus loss) .... hope is goal orientated and wish fulfillment (quite like hope gw in kipper) whereas Desire is very passive (quite like expectation in Kipper) - so desire is sitting and waiting - hope is heading towards achievement

Last question , I promise. Since so many cards look to be the same as Kipper why would I use this deck rather then Kipper besides wanting to learn another system? Is it better suited for a different style/type of questions or such? Thank you in advance for your help!!!!!!!
@TheCardGeek5 жыл бұрын
For me personally Gypsy is a shade darker read than Kipper - especially good at getting to the bottom of “issues” and the negative side of life - it’s also great for interrogation questions - the snap snap snap reads where we just lay fast and furiously then ask the next question

Can you recommend a book for learning to read with the gypsy cards? Can be in German or English. I can't find anything that looks promising. Or are you writing one yourself? ;-)

Hi Toni! I recently bought your Kipper book and compared your vision on directionality: as far as I understood , there seems to be some difference in directionality between Kipper and Gypsy, even with cards that look much alike. E.G. Kipper Militaer person STOP versus Gypsy Officer DIRECTION, why is this?
@TheCardGeek4 жыл бұрын
Kipper isn’t like Gypsy and gyspy is read differently and not very directional usually - different system
