Athena got so much shit for this match for "being reckless" and "taking liberties", but it's extremely obvious that, while she was working extremely snug, she was still working. She literally asks Gypsy "Ready?" before doing the ripcord punch thing at 1:43. I think it's actually dope that AEW has a female wrestler that looks like she's legit kicking the dogshit out of her opponents (but doing it safely), instead of throwing those shitty elbow punches, barely being able to run the ropes and shoot dropping each other on their heads like alot of the rest of the roster.
