These are some beautiful old trailers. Thanks for sharing them here. Here in the US we had some beautiful trailers back in the 50's and early 60's but I think none as beautiful as these. It is a shame what they are passing off as high end trailers these days.

Im a traveler from the u.s. there is a whole underground network of travelers, gypsies, old timey folks hitch hiking, hopping trains, caravanin' around the u.s. i love what you are all doing. your the root of what we are doing over here. i myself live out of a pack on my back and make a living on my banjo, and ill probably die traveling free. keep it up. you are an inspiration to us young people doing it here

Thanks for sharing, those chrome decorated caravans are a real work of art i saw them in the 70s/80s now and then but not any more, were they verry expensive.

Wow!, This is really cool. My husband and I feed the homeless and I am always trying to find a way to shelter someone. I'm trying to talk my husband into remodeling old trailers to sell dirt cheap. So many are homeless, but many are travelers. I like the gypsy style look. Has lots of class. Very cool way of life......

im not a traveller but love and respect their way of life except the ones that give travellers a bad name.i have a few traveller friends that i get on with well and they have shown me the way of their life which really touches the heart.the trailers are deffo something to drool over and ive even been involved with the restoration of a Vickers Lunedale and now own a buccaneer superstar which is currently being restored by me.keep up the good work trailerman 2 lets keep the traveller way of life alive for generations.ignore the trash who runs you down :o)

Wow what beautiful trailers. Amazing they are vastly different that the ones sold here in Canada. These trailers remind me of motor vehicles instead of caravans. Our RV's are full of slide-outs and really really diffeent. These are very beautiful though. Nice informative video..thanks.

I just found out that on my moms side of the family that her grandfather and his family were hungarian, circus traveling gypsys. Its awesome being a gypsy and gorger at the same time because they both are such great cultures. But now that im older (19) Im trying to live the life of a gypsy and live by my culture and their ways because I grew up in a gorger household with gorger ways but im not trying to do that anymore. I want to be more close with my culture and do it right.

Cousin of mine had one back in the 90s I remember we had a storm it was a very bad storm as it was nearing summer so the lightning ⚡️ and the wind was on real I remember jumping in and out of caravans that were blowing like cardboard boxes when I got a break in the wind I saved two friends of mine from the light caravan that they were living in no messing about ten of them blew over I’m glad I got as der that night my cousin had one one of these we had no time for moving in to shelter I went out let the four weeks down on it and it didn’t stir it saved us big time we had to put up a few heads for the night the caravan saved us that night the storm hit her right on in the middle of a field with no shelter no she was a solid one never forget about that one ☝️

Very nice video. Yes, it is sad that many have a negative opinion of a gypsy or traveller without actually ever meeting one. As a boy I was friends with a travelling family who were forced into a house. Though that must have been like a prison to them they became the best neighbours we ever had, true, loyal and always there when help was needed.

I still own my grans trailer from years ago her wishes were never to burn it we ended up selling it so Simon dhoerty and few years ago we found it in a field and now it's in its final resting spot in my back garden

So what would happen if the travelers were offered what we call in the states..."public housing" or government assisted housing. Would they go for it or is the roaming around part of the ingrained culture. It would seem that they could have a better standard of living if they just stayed in one place and lived off government assisted programs, housing and welfare checks.....thats what the poor do in the USA...they milk the system for every penny (and ten some)

Those are some lovely old trailers. I admit up front: I don't know jack about Gypsies, Romani, Irish Travelers, any of that. Just found out this past weekend that the word "Gypsy" is actually applied to several completely different groups of people. So I have a lot to learn. Gypsies travelled from India through the Middle East to Egypt. The term Gypsy is believed to be a corruption of the word Egyptian.
