Yes it would be crazy because they'd have a lot of dead passengers the drop like that would cause people to bounce off of each other and when spinning and retracting those cables it would have caused a lot of issues there as well And regardless let's say the retraction will be fine when they do drop they are going to hit each other and if they are spinning that's a problem too, if that ride does drop as fast as this video has claimed a whole lot of other factors come into play too Let me put it this way if this ride truly did exist in the way that they presented it a lot of people would be dead

If this was real, a few people would die each time as they’d collide into each other. I think that’s ok if people agreed to it and it may enhance the ride. It may be illegal or at least frowned upon in some places though. I doubt it would affect ticket sales though as many people would agree to the informed risk
