Before the recent buff to bronze and threads I put in just over two weeks of the 7 daily rewards, all world bosses, and every wing of LFR to fully upgrade gear. If I did that now I'd be fully upgraded and cloak would be twice as strong. Do that if you have a few hours each day.

Yeah. A single run of the heroic raids will net you 80K bronze mythic Orgrimmar, 30k. With a raid of max geared characters, we ran siege tonight on mythic in 70 minutes. We wiped twice on the last boss. Had we not done that, we’d have been out in less than an hour.

You can't have "mostly 528 gear and some high 300s gear" ... you can NOT upgrade items unevenly. Everything must be 514 before you can upgrade to 528.

They must be upgrading something in every slot but then equipping something else. I don't know why anyone would do that.

@@Assabinnas Ahh could be a fat finger when a bronze scrapper times out... I have accidentally equipped stuff i was trying to scrap because of the 2 minute timer on each scrapper u summon, makes me super paranoid now!

I know that you need to raise your ilevel progressively across all pieces (which is stupid, by the way). Maybe I was wrong and spotted his jewelry at mid-high 300s and thought he had a couple more pieces, human error... 🤷‍♀️

You can’t upgrade jewelry. It stays at 342. Some people delete their jewelry for better scaling but many people just keep them.

Because of the way you upgrade gear you could have some at 556, some at 542, and jewelry at 342. So basically that demon Hunter had some gear that was one upgrade away from as good as it can be.

I have a DH 476, 7.4 mil hp, cloak 153k stamina, avg dps 10mil+, bursting around 20-25 mil. Playing 3 hrs a day max. U don’t need to worry about stats at all, u will eventually just max them all out. If you are a dps - prioritize crit/mastery/versa, but mostly crit since a lot of top tinker gems work off of crit. If u want to up your power fast - do your dailies, (dungeons, scenarios, world bosses, quests, etc). Focus on lvling your gear first since it will be your main source of power. Tanking is viable until you are 476, after then u will be impossible to kill (depending on the class, demon hunters have a lot of self heals, I am able to pull all the mobs in siege before shamans and tank them without dying). Pick a class that can have multiple roles and que dungeons/lfr as either a tank or healer and then spec back to dps when u get to dungeon/raid. Join the so called “world tour runs” and do all 5 hc raids every day (along with dailies it will yield around 100-120k bronze a day, if you add up all the lfrs it will be around 130-140k). U will be able to get to 476 in 5-6 days.

Hard to head, but good summary overall. Now imagine all this effort and investment into one "God" will be lost in a month with a pre-patch for TWW arriving? 🙄🤷‍♀️🤣

@@GyrotexGaming it took me about a week playing 3 hrs a day to get here. And in 2 weeks (today included) I was able to get all the items available in Remix (all the transmogs, mounts, toys, achievements, etc). So basically I just completed Remix, now I just go for achievements and reputations. Plus I was also able to level 5 characters to lvl 70 without upgrading them so I have as much toons as possible for TWW. Not regretting it at all.

Necklace, cloak, rings, and trinkets are not upgradeable. Only armor and weapons can be upgraded to 556. The strongest boost you can feel is if you upgrade your pieces of gear with your tinker gems in it first: shoulder, wrist, gloves, belt. Weapon is important, but is class specific so it varies. Then either your helmet, to buff your meta gem, or your chest and legs to buff your prismatics. Upgrading gear with prismatics in them boosts the stats the prismatics give you. You must upgrade all weapons, and armour to the same ilvl before you can restart this cycle. Raids, especially with the new bronze buff to caches, is the BEST source of bronze, after your dailies & LFG/LFR daily bonuses. Anyone can do normal raids, theyre as easy as LFR wings. And each boss gives 1k bronze.

also since accessories dont upgrade past 314, your gems in those slot are not scaling to their potential. make sure your epic gems are in your highest lvl gear for most benefit. remember the scaling when you go to min max stats

ALOT of ppl have similiar stats and are not froggers. just play the game, literally, u get millions of bronze and stats just by doing dailys....not evry one stronger than you is an exploiter. my entire guild is super stronger by just playing 1 h or 2 a day MAX. bosses die in 4 seconds ( HEROIC ), 20 seconds MAX in mythic. its so easy, i dont get it how ppl say is slow....

I dinged level 70 on 27th of may (after frog nerfs) and have since got 2 characters to 476 ilvl. Play the game and cry less and you too can be 476 instead of crying about froggers which havn't been an issue for a long time now.

In retail, I’m a mediocre tank at best. In remix, I’m a god at it. It’s a nice feeling to be on top for a brief period of time.

TLDR - get max ilvl and use the OP combo of lifestorm / searing light. If you're tank use mark of arrogance. If you're really into mega cheesing you can straight up delete your jewelry after you max out your gear. This will make you stronger in all instanced content on heroic / mythic difficulty because of how scaling works, but it's really not needed. Just play the game and do the dailies. I came in late and played for a week and a half and my character is max ilvl and has cleared mythic siege several times. It's not hard.

All level 70s can get 556 gear easily. Prismatic gems are easy to collect or buy as well. The maxumin DPS is caused by augmentation of the timerunner cloak. Running heroics and above award higher stats!

Pretty much summarises it. It's a lot of time investment, I would NOT say that you get to 556 easily. I mean, it doesn't require ANY skill, it just requires time investment.
