Wondering how to build a Gyruda companion deck? Gyruda, Doom of Depths is our first companion build around for the channel, and we are going to trigger it a million times! With Lazav as our commander and Gyruda as our partner, this all even cmc edh deck will mill our opponents (or itself) to victory!

AAAAAARGH!!!! Listening to Magic content as a Godzilla fan these days is incredibly frustrating. It's not "Giggan," like Gigan has a GIG driving ubers on Monster Island on the weekends, it's "Guy-gan," like he's friggin' GIGANTIC, except with a hard "G." Loved the deck tech! I’m working on a noncreature build with Haldan Avid Arcanist and Pako Arcane Retriever as the commanders, with Xyris the Writhing Storm as the ‘hidden commander’. It’s gonna have a Snake tokens group hug theme with absolutely no creature cards aside from the aforementioned commanders ;) and the deck looks to draw everyone cards after digging Xyris out of the deck to create a massive army of Snake tokens and see what happens lol. I still have quite a few more slots to choose so if anyone has any suggestions, or better yet, if you guys like the idea and want to make a deck tech around it, that’d be sick!

Cool idea. I think I will convert my Scarab God deck into this deck because it has a ton of overlap already and I have always found my Scarab God deck to be a bit lack luster. My Scarab God deck wastes a lot of slots on wheels and looting and even milling to get creatures in the yard. Gyruda just does it himself and that's a beautiful thing for this archetype. Just counted: 27 odd mana CMC cards in my Scarab God deck. Ouch! Maybe not. Well if I get a copy it'll be an option I guess.

Please do a deck tech on Tayam. I’m trying to build that deck and I struggle with the creature balance. I want a lot of +1/+1 counters, but I need some outlets like Carrion Feeder and payoffs like Cruel Celebrant. But also a little bit of combo with Persist/Undying. Help me find my balance.

You're thinking of something else. The ban list for EDH is extremely small. It's like 15 cards from all of magic. WoTC gives ZERO fucks about the health of EDH / CEDH. If they did, CEDH wouldn't have the same 5 win conditions no matter what deck you play.
