Me too, random person on the Internet! She's a very fun character. Not just some shy girl with a crush and stalking tendencies, but she's directly approaching Sonic with her heart on her sleeve. Her love for Sonic is strong, but it's not her main personality trait - she is friends with everyone in the group, she's caring and a literal heart of it. Like, even Knuckles seems to have a soft spot for her and they get along quite nicely. She's really underappreciated.

​@SuchSweetChaos Amy was a character without Sonic and there are multiple games where she disregards him entirely (Sonic Shuffle, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders) after her initial introduction. It's disingenuous to say her entire character is formed around Sonic, when the reality is her character is more heavily centered around her relationship with Sonic and how it changes her, similarly to Tails.

The place where Amy stores her Piko Piko Hammer is the same place that Toons such as The Looney Tunes and the Animaniacs do, which is simply named Hammerspace, it’s basically a pocket dimension only accessible by the one character, If you pay attention, other Sonic characters have a hammerspace too, but they don’t use it to store the aforementioned hammer, Sonic and Shadow have both been shown to store chaos emeralds in it, and I’m pretty sure that Tails keeps some tools in his, but I’m not certain of that (It isn’t explicitly stated that the characters have a hammerspace but instead implied, as they have been shown putting things behind their back/in their quills, ect, and the things not dropping or falling out)
