So the Internet can turn it into "Wu's got talent"? Fuck that shit, We , the community are responsible for awarding the greats with such a title. Personally, I try not to compare artists because they all model themselves differently. Having a "Wu Award" would only make people try and start a new clan..... Never going to happen 🤣 be yourself & be true, you can't say fairer than that. ✌️

I mostly listen to new school hip hop these days but every so often i’ll go and revisit these classics.. despite my love for the new school it must be said that classic albums are a rarity now, rappers in the 90s used to drop them ALL the time and Liquid Swords is certainly no exception, rappers these days just can’t put out a body of work like this that stands the test of time

If there was a Mount Rushmore of best lyricists/rappers, GZA's head would be on there.

3rd verse is one of the best of all time. “I'm low-key like seashells, I rock these bells (When the MCs) Now come aboard, it's Medina bound Enter the chamber, and it's a whole different sound It's a wide entrance, small exit like a funnel So deep, it's picked up on radios in tunnels Niggas are fascinated how the shit begin Get vaccinated, my logo is branded in your skin” fucking insane 🔥🔥

GZA's rapping goes hard but not enough people appreciate RZA's production.
