Hey guys, just wanted to come here and apologise once again for how my energy is literally all over the place hahaha Like I said, I had been filming all day and my brain definitely was not at 100% of its capabilities and so I did miss a few things here and there when watching the stages but as a whole I would say I still have the same overall opinion as I had during this video. ^^ Please feel free to share your own ranking and please be respectful as always ❤️

The story of the stage is based on the Netflix Spanish drama "Casa del Papel", which is where Hongjoong got the idea for the Spanish music and language during his rap. They reproduced some of the scenes from the series almost shot for shot.

So in Skz's performance the boy was one of them and he died so they tried to bring him back. They make a deal with the devil after sacrificing themselves to bring the boy back. At the end you see the boy come back and hug Chan. An interesting bit you can notice is, before the filming for this episode they made 8 rings. One for each member and all of them were wearing their rings while performing. The 8th ring was on the statue of the boy so a lot of Stays think the boy represents Hyunjin and this stage is them protecting him. They also changed the original lyrics of the song which was about a girl, to be gender neutral in their version. 3racha said that the song could be about a lover but it could also be about someone they treasure like a friend or family. Their stage is honestly my favourite because they attempted something extremely risky considering this song is so difficult to perform that Btob themselves avoid it AND they did an amazing job. This stage was super different from the other stages not only compared to other groups but compared to previous stages Skz have done as well. I'm just so proud of them for taking the opportunity and showing us a different side to themselves and regardless of the rankings, Stays appreciate this.

I feel BTOB performances has just the right balance of concept and music. They put the vocals don't get lost in their performance which makes them stand out. While watching them it still feels a music performance and not overwhelming.

YESSS I agree, I loveee Ateez's performance but I have to give credit where credit is due and that is I think BTOB really managed to still let their vocals and music shine through the flashy performance and props. The other groups (even Ateez) kinda muddled their vocals a little bit because it got kinda lost within the concept and the dancing and stuff 😌

btob's performance really caught my attention bc of how they managed to deliver such a badass performance without much choreo or anything, just the laid-back rockstar vibes combined with their insane charisma and stage presence. and just look at the reaction version, they did the bare minimum compared to the other groups and still everyone was getting hyped af, including me. my favorite one has to be skz's tho. they did such an amazing job in portraying the whole feeling of "i'll be your man", with also (probably) referencing to 'orpheus and euridice'. it was so theatrical i couldn't help but watch the whole thing at the edge of my seat. still mad that mnet really did them dirty this round.

Experts evaluation is something I see as m-net adjustment points to make the show more exciting. I honestly can’t believe BTOB and Stray Kids are the bottom two in the expert evaluation. For me, same as you, I liked BTOB the best, how simple concept and perfect energy and amazing vocals they have executed. 👏👏👏　 In regard to Stray Kids I will rank them either 2nd or 3rd place, as their performance was the most emotional performance of all. No wonder, as they put their heart and soul into their performance, Bang Chan was almost in tears, because they have meant the song to protect their important person (obviously their missing member). It really touched my heart.

IKON and ATEEZ really took each other’s songs and be like “Eyy this is ours now” 🤣 I think these two should’ve been top 2 (which I’m happy for Ateez but sad for Ikon) While the other groups had a much more impactful performance (SKZ and Sf9 took my breath away as a Melody/Atiny) they still remained- how should I say this? “Loyal” ? To the original song? The mission was to change up the song to their style- to literally *own* the song. Now they did change up a few things like the instrumentals, a few lyrics and the concept/message of the songs, it still remained identical which is why they got lower ranks (to anyone complaining why skz was 5th)

I loved all 6 stages, but I have to say - I don't understand how iKON and BTOB aren't the top 2 teams by far for this CHALLENGE. In terms of understanding the assignment and making the songs "re-born," they both did amazingly. ATEEZ went for the show "Money Heist" as a concept. Since it's a spanish show with italian influence i liked how they really showcased a full experience and since it's my fave netflix series i might be very biased. I absolutely loved this stage and i also really love BTOB. My top three groups of this round are ATEEZ, BTOB and IKON. They really embodied the theme. For the other groups i wasn't really surprised tbh for what stage they went but their stages were good too

They sold their soul to the devil just so they can save the little boy even if it will cause them their life. It kind of represent Hyunjin as well, because Hyunjin is on a hiatus right now. If you can see the kids statue, it is wearing a necklace that has a ring on it. SKZ made it themselves. There are 8 rings. The members are wearing them while the 8th ring is with the boys statue. (The 8th member is hyunjin). The original concept of BTOB was about wanting to get the woman back which is different from SKZ concept.

If you don't check the english translation of the lyrics then you wouldn't know but skz rearranged the whole song from a love song to a non love song. You did great with understanding skz storyline at first watch. Stray kids performances are always personal and meaningful/deep. Skz also gives so much importance to every part even the smallest details. Skz lyrics are very sad and they executed the song's meaning very well through their raps+vocals and story/performance. I'll explain the performance a bit: Stray kids rearranged this song's lyrics to be about protecting your precious loved ones even if it means sacrificing your life. The performance storyline is about skz mourning about their loss who is the kid and they are desperate to bring him back to life. You can see after the chorus that they opened the gates of heaven to asked for help but heaven didn't want that so you can see the angels dragging and chaining them up. In the end they decided to make a deal with the devil, you can see from felix rap verse. They received the philosopher's stone in exchange for their souls. The ending shows skz successfully bringing the kid back to life but at what cost? The child is brought back to life but skz are all dead as a consequence or pay for what they did. I was in awe the whole time watching this. It's a heartfelt performance and it will hurt more if you've experienced losing a loved one. I actually liked this more than their round 1 performance. For this reborn mission, in terms of song arrangement, lyrics and execution. I'll choose btob, skz and ikon as my top3 in no particular order. I thought one of them would rank 1st but I was wrong. Thank you for your reaction, you always comment objectively and I love how you try your best to analyse every groups performance.

Ateez performance on their round 2 is a prequel to their performance in round 1 as what I've read Halateez Hongjoong helped Ateez to rewind the time (u can see Halateez Hongjoong steal that sand hourglass thing at the end of this performance and Halateez HJ handed it on Ateez HJ at the beginning of Wonderland performance) to kill the Kraken that hurt them on their Introductory Stage.

ATEEZ's stage was inspired by the spanish series "Money Heist", where they rob a bank because they are tired of the goverment stealing their money, and they also used a mask while robbing the bank, that's why ateez started this performance in a car with a mask getting ready to rob a bank.

Ngl when skz choose I'll Be Your Man I was really scared that I choose not to watch any teaser or spoiler because the song was quite hard to sing during live, even the BTOB's members admit that. But when I watched skz's performance,I was like wow..They really show that they are capable eventho before this most of their songs aren't based on heavy-vocal-performance and with only a week apart to practice, Kudos to them.

My personal ranking is probably 1. stray kids: not only that they rearranged the song into their own style, but the whole storyline also matches the theme 're-born'. the story of sacrification is on point and the combination of rap and vocals is perfect (it got me teary-eyed and goosebumps everywhere haha). I was shocked by their live ability!!!!! I lowkey like this performance much more than first round 2. btob: the mixture of different styles is very creative and it is super fun to watch. we all know that they are super professional and the whole performance is very mature. they hyped us all up!!! 3.ateez: well i love money heist so the concept is 100% my cup of tea. They showed us their charisma and the rearrangement is great. Anyways all groups did a great job love them all❤️

My Top three were Ateez, BTOB and SF9 - Ateez and SF9 really told their stories well, and mixed up the songs in a really good way, and BTOB showed a different side of themselves and I thought they did a great job!

Even as a stay I think skz’ overall performance wasn’t as strong as some others.. mainly bc of the concept. The vocals and rapping was pretty much flawless but I feel the concept/story was too complicated. When I was watching it live without any subs..I didn’t fully understand what they were going for, versus other groups who’s concepts translated well without the need of explanation. I’m really sad that they got 5th and hate seeing how upset they are about it. But unfortunately this is a ranked competition show so even if all the performances are incredible, someone still has to be last. I think this will give them the motivation to come back with a killer performance

Yesss! My opinion as well. Like to me it just seemed a little messy and not as refined as the other groups. I wish more people were subjective. Just because you stan a group doesn’t mean you have to blindly like all of their performances.

@@agustracha Yeah I try to do the same. Like it’s been crazy to see the pettiness come out from all the fandoms. The voting system is only flawed when their favourites are the bottom two lol. Stray kids are my favourites from the show but that doesn’t mean I have to blindly like everything they do. This week they were a little off and that’s okay, it doesn’t take away from their talent.

Thank you for your reactions! This Ateez stage is inspired by Money Heist/La Casa De Papel and is connected with their storyline and the round 1 stage as well! You can understand a lot if you read the storyline part in their "Zero: Fever Part. 2 Diary Version." album, when you read that, this stage will be a lot of more sense! That classical music is "Summer from The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi, it's pretty known and it's in an episode of La Casa De Papel too. Like we see in the 'From the Wonderland' stage, Hongjoong likes to put classical music into the arrangement of the song! Hope you have a good day and rest well! I love your reactions, keep going!

i found that the stage kinda reference from their story from Fever pt.2 diary ver. It written that their halateez(black fedora) and fellow people againts the goverment and the things like halateez (black fedora) is the most wanted person who want to take back the cromer and used it to run away to other dimension, that why hongjoong in black fedora steal the cromer in the end. ㅡ based on Fever Pt.2 diary ver. maybe this story not familiar with other so they mixed with money heist to made other people can catch up the story they had. sorry for my bad english. anw thanks for the kind words >< the fact you mention bap and daehyun made me happy. my BABYATINY feels omg

the differences between the ranking from fans and the ranking from experts + self evaluation differs simply because of each fandom's power, it has nothing to do with which performance was better or worse, the difference in size between each fandom + the 3 voting rule + the ongoing 'war' between the 4th generation fandoms + strategies from each fandom make it impossible for that criteria to be impartial, it'll never reflect the actual thoughts of the viewers on each performance. In any case, for me, what I trust the most is the self evaluation ranking and to a lesser extent the experts one.

I had the same ranking as your first to third. I really liked how these three groups, BTOB, Stray Kids, and SF9 thought about their concepts. BTOB went beyond expectation and showed how flexible they are as performers. Stray Kids' theme showed that they are deep thinkers while SF9 provided us with a great story. These 3 groups should have been in the top 3 in ranking. 👍
