Fantastic video. I really hope North Carolina is taking notes. Commercial fishing continues to decimate our fragile fisheries. Unfortunately, the legislation continues to support them. Join CCA…let’s ensure redfish will be bountiful for generations to come. It’s absolutely my favorite game fish of all time and I’m proud to say I’ve never so much as tasted one. Caught and released thousands…thanks Dad 🎣

I started fishing the Texas coast in the late seventies. Redfish were plentiful but felt sick seeing commercial fishermen filled thier boats full. I wade fish and one day I remember seeing a commercial fisherman setting his net out and going down the shoreline beating the side of his boat to run the redfish into the net. This was on the same shoreline we were planning on fishing!
