Thank you for this song , I’ve had a very hard couple of months, first I got diagnosed with severe carpal tunnel syndrome and had to have surgery . Then my God sister who was only 37 passed away along with her three kids . Then a week later my wife of 8 years just walks out on me , but I don’t hate her your words allowed me to feel pity for her . Some demons only God can handle ,but I will Always love and adore her . "Can't do what happened to me to you" Coldest line in a song I've heard. literally chills went down my spine. It's been months and I'm trying. My husband probably won't bother to listen but I sent it to him anyway. Every line brings me to tears because this is where I am in my journey to forgive and attempt to move on. I was ready to walk away before listening to this on repeat. He is the one who caused the damage and I'm the one working to fix it. guess he figured his apology was his duty and no other effort is warranted on his part. Well I'm "Exhausted". (been listening to that too). I thought I was making progress but I realize I've got more healing to do. Probably best to do it on my own.
