She's better than average, but we need to be honest about a thing or two. She's really built her career imitating BW (literally admitted to trying to imitate Whitney Houston and Aretha franklin). It's not imitation, it's inspiration. She listened to those artists all the time as a child so it's normal that they effected the way she sings. Just as young artists now are being inspired by her and singers of her generation.
