私も高校入学まで出島に居ました。 出島地区の田ノ尻です。 懐かしくて、島に居た頃の記憶がぶわぁ〜っと思い出されて来ました。 私自身、宮城県から離れてしまったのでなかなか島に行きたくても行けなかったのでこうして映像として島を見れて嬉しかったです。 来年くらいに橋が架かると聞きました。ぜひ、橋が架かった島にも行って欲しいです。

Is 5:53 in memory of the 3/11 tsunami? I can't begin to imagine the sheer horror of that...

There were stone monuments in this village indicating two tsunami arrival points. One is 2011/3/11 and the other is 1933/3/8.

Thank you for watching 😊 I didn't notice that the sandbags were connected to the buildings and boats. I think it is a measure against strong winds rather than a tsunami. Thank you for your nice suggestions 😊
