貴重な動画とホームページありがとうございます。指定避難場所でも亡くなっている方が多い中、よく海岸沿いなのに避難して助かられたな、と思います。助からなかったのが悪いのではなく運と少しの機転でしかないように感じました。ありがとうございました。

I have seen so many of these videos on the 3-11-2011 tsunami, soon 10 years will have passed. I cry so many tears for your families and the loss. I live in Florida, US, I cannot imagine the sorrow this caused but I pray often for its survivors.

余り高台ないのでここの場所は命救ってくれた高台に思えます。 とても辛く思ったのは避難された方がたの姿は余りこの映像から見出せないという 事です。 多くの犠牲者がと思うと嘆かわしい映像です。 宮城野区や荒浜方面にもこうした高台が幾つもあったならばずっと犠牲者も減ったはずです。

There are few high places on the Sendai Plains for people to get to,the only safety is to drive out,this was a rare park that just happened to be built up,you can see its quite close to the ocean front,most of Sendai Plain is completely flat and low agricultural region with cities built around it,like metro Sendai City,Tagajo city and Natori City.

i have watched almost all the tsunami videos and they along with this one show the utter power of the planet, as bad as this earthquake and the earthquake in indonesa with the following tsunami's were, things can be worse, i am not minimizing either of the events, i am simply stating the planet is very old and i think about other earthquake and tsunami events that may have occured in the past before humans roamed it... i also think the japanese artist who painted THE WAVE was painting a tsunami event, but great courage to the japanese people and thank you for sharing this
