The dancer in the motion capture suit is working a lot harder that the animated version. The performance is exceptionally energetic and very exciting to watch. Wonderful work!

Very interesting that the motion captured model gets most of the movements right but still lacks depth.
@trottinettesauvage Жыл бұрын
@@carlosjosejimenezbermudez9255 its mostly due to physics not being present which makes the motion have less impact
@ArDeeMee Жыл бұрын
The model does have a certain weight to it, due to the pretty accurate motion tracking and slight shadow. What makes it seem off in comparison to a real person is the lack of „jiggle“. The real dancer‘s body has muscle, sinews and skin moving around, while the model is flat. In direct comparison, this is extremely obvious and creates an uncanny valley effect. If the model is in a cartoon environment, where everything has this same „flatness“ of surfaces, it would not be noticeable at all.

The human dancer was on fire! So entertaining and engaging to watch. She lit it up.
@shadowsoulless6227 Жыл бұрын
@@ArDeeMeeyeah when watching them directly side by side it's very apparent that the human dancer has tons of subtle muscle movements that cannot be translated onto the 3D model because it does not have each intricate muscle simulated on its body
Literally unbelievable. I thought it was animated when I saw it in an MMD, but this is somehow even more mindblowing.
@jihanoski Жыл бұрын
lol what animating this would actually be way way harder, next to impossible to get that sharpness and smoothness. it is so perfect because it's handmade i thought anybody could tell just by looking

Wooooow. These modern ball room jazz with hip hop fusion dances are so cool. Those are some incredible dance moves, incredible control.

The movement at 1:22 is SO COOL!!! So much energy! :D
It's been 9 days since I first found this video and started dancing to it. I've been repeating that a few times each week. Every time I do it, I get a little better at dancing, do exercise and feel very happy for the rest of the day. Soon enough I'll have learned to dance just like the woman in the video. Oh, and if she is reding this comment... Thank you for making several of my days better with your energetic dancing!

The first thing I think of, when someone mentions doing this dance themselves, is How hard is it to keep up?
@prowers2623 Жыл бұрын
@gregmonks5762 It's not too hard to keep up the pace for me, mostly because I have a lot of fun doing it. Even so, I always sweat a lot so it might be a bit hard for others. It's just way easier to have energy on doing what you like, but... I still struggle a lot at mimicking her movements lol.
@gregmonks Жыл бұрын
@@prowers2623 I see what you mean. She throws in a LOT of subtle stuff. She must work up one helluva sweat inside that thick-looking motion capture suit. My ex-wife used to dance ballet, and when she came home would charge straight for the shower! "I stink! Don't touch me!"

The dancing is just so damn fluid and impressive that you have to be undoubtedly the best dancer I’ve ever seen. The motion capture and the model are impressive, sure, but I find the person dancing way more eye catching than the model copying the movements. I think I’ve just found one of my favorite videos and songs, keep it up!
