河津桜まつりについて
河津桜は2月上旬から開花しはじめる早咲きの桜で、
1972年に河津町で発見されました。
花が大きくピンク色なのが特徴のこの桜は
カンヒザクラとオオシマザクラの自然交配と考えられてます。
伊豆の温暖な気候と早咲きの特色を生かし、
約1ヶ月を経て満開になります。
例年は2月初旬～3月初旬が開花時期。
満開ではなくても、五～六分咲き以上で十分満足感の
得られる河津桜観賞ができます。
河津桜まつりは毎年多くの人が集まる大イベント。
河津川沿いには約850本もの桜が咲き、
全体で約8,000本の桜が咲いています。
河津桜まつり期間中は多くの露店や桜のライトアップ、
様々なイベントを開催し、より一層盛り上がります。
「夜桜ライトアップ」は、ロマンティックな雰囲気が
高まりデートにぴったりです。

About Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival
Kawazu cherry blossoms are early-blooming cherry blossoms that begin to bloom in early February.
It was discovered in Kawazu Town in 1972.
This cherry blossom, which is characterized by its large flowers and pink color,
It is thought to be a natural mating of Prunus campanulata and Prunus speciosa.
Taking advantage of the warm climate of Izu and the characteristics of early blooming,
It will be in full bloom after about a month.
The flowering time is usually from the beginning of February to the beginning of March.
Even if it is not in full bloom, it is enough to be satisfied with blooming for 5 to 6 minutes or more
You can enjoy the Kawazu cherry blossoms that you can get.
The Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is a big event where many people gather every year.
About 850 cherry trees bloom along the Kawazu River,
A total of about 8,000 cherry trees are in bloom.
Many stalls and cherry blossoms are lit up during the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival
We will hold various events and make it even more exciting.

河津桜が長い距離植えられているのですね。 この桜は花の色が濃くよく見る桜と印象が違います。

朝8:30頃行きましたが、 伊豆では今一番の観光スポットだけあって、 結構人がいました。 引き揚げる頃にはかなりの混雑でした。

Thank you for your comment! Kawazu cherry blossoms are darker in color than other cherry blossoms. Somei Yoshino has a taste, but Kawazu cherry blossoms are characterized by their flashiness😄

河津桜は、寒い時期に咲くのでとても微笑ましく癒やされますね。　お父さんと私の思い出がいっぱい、１４年も一緒に来てました。

河津桜は桜の中でも一番個性がありますね！ この時は菜の花が終わってしまっていたので、コラボが見られなくちょっと残念でした😂
