আমি আরব আমিরাতে EV charging station স্থাপনকারী একটি কোম্পানীতে কর্মরত আছি। এখানে ২ ধরনের চার্জিং স্টেশন স্থাপন করা হয়। একটা AC যেটা সাধারণত বাসা-বাড়িতে স্থাপন করা হয়। এটাতে একটা গাড়ি ০-১০০% চার্জ হতে সময় লাগে ৫-৬ ঘন্টা। আরেকটা DC চার্জিং স্টেশন। যেটা স্কুল-কলেজ, শপিং মল, ব্যাংকসহ বিভিন্ন সরকারি এবং বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের পার্কিং লটে স্থাপন করা হয়, এ ধরনের DC চার্জারে চার্জ করতে সময় নেয়

বৈদ্যুতিক গাড়িও তৈরীর সময় পরিবেশের প্রচুর ক্ষতি করে। তবে জ্বালানি তেল এর থেকে EV মোটামুটি কম পরিবেশ ক্ষতি করে। আমাদের উচিৎ হাইড্রোজেন চালিত গাড়ির দিকে অগ্রসর হওয়া।
