Thanks for the insight. Really debating between the Tactical and the Long slide versions. I want threaded barrel and the new sights on the tactical but the better accuracy of the L keeps bringing me back to it.

I can’t wait until I buy that slide kit for my VP9. They had it up for a while. I think it goes for $599 if not mistaken at HK’s website. I just recently got my VP9 my first firearm in August of this year. Nice video by the way. 👍🏾

I have had a VP9 since they released. If you watch the VP9 TACTICAL review. I show my original VP9 with the broken frame and it’s still running!

I also have the Glock 34 and the VP9L. In just 6 months of owning the VP9L, I've gone from a Sharpshooter to a Master in IDPA Carry Optics with the VP9L and a DPP. Also, I know you just told us that you have those Safariland holsters in stock for the VP9L, but I've had one on order from RDR since September 9th. Hopefully it's shipping soon so I can start running this pistol on my duty rig.

@@B1NT1 sorry man I answered that super late at night like a total asshole. My apologies. 1. The mounting leave me wanting more. I would prefer the scs to have lugs as well as screws. That’s a lot of force working. I feel this is why mine keet coming loose. 2. For a full size vp9/match. I personally do t see the need for the scs. I have a Rmr on my VP9L and a acro on the standard VP9. I carry it as well some times. I prefer a little bit of a more robust red dot. It’s up to you if you upgrade to taller sights. I prefer them. But they are definitely not a need. Again sorry for giving you that short lame answer at first. Sometimes I get into respond mode and forget to read the question fully. Jeff

Mark. Burris is not really a go to optic. I understand you may Already have one. But if not save the money and get a better more durable dot. I also do not think you will find much support in mounting plates. Don’t quote me on that.

@@rdrgear yes HK parts provides a plate specifically for the fastfire 3. I believe it was plate number five and at work perfectly. I have a burst optic on one of my ARs and really extra kind of liked it. Can't find the holster for the vp9l on your website.

Man that’s a pretty rough. The mete has a better trigger. Both are optics ready. Lock up and tolerance probably better on the vp9. Either would be great

Great idea on H&K's part to offer the " Long slide ONLY"....I mean WHY NOT? :) People will still buy the VP9L..i prefer the VP9L Match :) It's not your run of the mill "usua dutry style" gun (e.g. no lightening cuts or a COMP). Guns are too simular. My only minor "want" would be for H&AK to offer a blued version of the VP9L Match (or SFP9 L Match for CDN/Uuro sustomers)....love blued guns....

I personally don’t think either the VP9L or the Canik would be good EDC Choices. Since they are both primarily designed to be competition pistols. A VP9 would be a great entry pistol to edc and training to be proficient with the pistol to carry
