Also some additional trivias: - The "Scylla" cannon on Calamity's torso was technically based on Aegis' "Scylla" MA mode cannon, hence the similar naming. - The way Verde Bustere's hip bayonet cannon's combine was technically homage to Wing Gundam Zero's Twin Buster Rifles (Note the "Buster" name).

3 years later: Turns out the original Buster Gundam was salvaged by the Lacus faction, upgraded with an N-Jammer Canceler and turned into the Lightning Buster Gundam. Per the Gundam wiki, it has: 2x MA-X60S/D Multi-Barrel Purpose Gun. (These are the big guns on the Lightning Buster's back. They can either fire over the shoulders like the Freedom's or under the arm like the base Buster's guns.) 2x MMI-KX815 High-Energy Beam Gun. (These are small bean rifles attached to the Lightning Buster's hips.) 2x Type 77 Multi-Purpose Guided Missile Launcher. (The missile pods the base Buster used have been moved to it's back above the thrusters. While not listed on the wiki, there appear to be 4 more lasers on the shoulders (2 on each shoulder). These might be extra cameras but I think they're more weapons.

​@@simplesabahanguy9976False. Gundam 00 never reused stock footage, that was released in 2007. Also Gundam X and Turn A Gundam rarely used stock footage. They used them sure, but mostly for transformation sequences in Gundam X's case, and to literally show the old shows footage in Turn A's case. Gundam Seed was just poorly animated, even for the time. It's a bit excusable though since this was the first time they fully went digital. They blew most of the budget in the ost and voice cast.

Azrael did sell the sword calamity unit 03 to the Sahaku twins and Ed didn't "join" the U.S.S.A. (United States of South America), he returned to his homeland to fight for its independence from the North Atlantic Federation. @@zethythonix technically the source material is correct. In the manga it is first stated that he defected to the USSA, but in later chapters its referred to him returning to fight for them and to inspire them to fight for themselves. Ultimately it could be argued as a matter of perspective of narration. Narrating from an EA perspective would be the cause for defection. I tend to stick with him returning, as it flows better story wise. Btw if my earlier post came across as offensive, sorry. I try to avoid sounding like a troll or net bully

In my school vr game the buster gundam had a new veriont called the X buster gundam and it was heavily armed where it has 2 mega particul cannons as the arms and has 2 dainslefts on the back that fold on the back it participated in the ultra guardians tournament island defence but it got destroyed by the gala dual gundam in vidar mode and for calamity gundam it has a upgrade veriont called calamity war gundam and it is unmatched in power it has upgraded sensors and nanolaminated armour which was destroyed by the napalm from 00 goalius gn arios and archer combined mode and the thing was destroyed by friendly fire from the barbatos lupas rex massive club

So I'm confused you said the calamity and sister units could only be piloted by cpu's aka boosted men on drugs but how does "Ed The Ripper" pilot the sword calamity without being a boosted man on drugs??? Maybe ur wrong and anyone can pilot them just the only way to get full potential out of these units with naturals was with the boosted men "(food for thought) if you have evidence or proof that those specific three can only be piloted by boosted men I'd like to see it cause I don't think that was ever stated in seed or seed destiny. & What about coordinators couldn't they pilot them as well?

Perhaps you need to go back and read more info, the natural OS was nearly developed by the time Sword Calamity concept was created, which was why Ed can pilot it. Next answer, Coordinator cannot exactly handle the druggies OS because the druggies training and drugs were different, there’s no guarantee that Coordinator can handle it as well as the druggies
