Kapuriya is a traditional Gujarati recipe which made from Rice and Lentils, There are two types of Kapuriya, one is without vegetables and the second version is with vegetables, both taste super delicious. Usually in winters Fresh Toor Dana added in Kapuriya but you can make it with Green Peas, Carrots, or any other vegetable of your choice. Usually Kapuriya served with Groundnut Oil or Tea. I also shared Kapuriya flour recipe which is very Important to make Kapuriya

Ingredients:
1 Cup Rice
1/2 Cup Yellow split Pigeon peas
1/4 Cup Chana Dal
2 tbsp Black Gram
2-1/2 Cups Water
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Curd
1/4 Cup Fresh Pigeon Peas
1 tbsp Ginger Chilly Paste
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 tsp Carom Seeds
1 tbsp Roasted Groundnut Powder
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
3-4 Curry Leaves
Salt to Taste
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
For Tadka:
1 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 tsp Sesame Seeds
4-5 Curry Leaves
2 Dry Red Chillies
For Serving:
Achaar Masala
Tea
