The purpose of this training is to use backend chop/push first (a transition), then use forehand loop on incoming balls, no matter the area of the returning ball...Firstly, the coach asked her, which side should you focus on, your backhand side or your forehand side? The correct answer is your backhand side...First, after you use your backhand push the ball back, then you should primarily focus on your backend side....Otherwise, you won't have the time to leave space for forehand loop if someone hit the ball back to your backhand side. ....So you should primarily focus on the backhand side, if the ball is hitting your forhand area, then you just slide and use your forehand loop.

@@WJG-tg7ks I'm a right hand player. so, you are saying - if opponent pushed to my backhand side, to always guard and focus on the backhand side, but also do be ready to go over to the forehand side if the opponent chooses to hit the ball to your forehand side? This is when the opponet chops to my forehand side, Would I do the reverse, such as guard my forehand side??? or would I still guard/focus on the backhand side when the opponebt pushes to my forehand side???

back hand push and fore hand attacks all table. After your back hand push, pay most of your attention to your pivot, because if you pay attention on forehand sides you will be late on your pivot. Be brave to move your feet around the table without hesitation. If you are not confident to the ball you are hitting then brush more the ball. Now you can pay me
