凄いなぁ。 日本では小学生の頃から1文字ずつ漢字の意味とか、その漢字の読み方を何通りも勉強してるから色んな漢字の読み方が分かるし予想出来るけど、そういう勉強をしてるのかな？ してないとしたら、知らない漢字を見るたびにその字の形と読み方だけを覚えてるわけで、記憶力がホントに凄いんだろうなぁって思います。

Great stream! As a kanji novice, it's interesting to clearly see the difference between kanji fluency and cultural fluency in action. Baelz knows a crazy amount of kanji as a non native and knows countless onyomi and kunyomi -- you can see this academic knowledge in action when she brute forces words accurately by the third or fourth guess -- but common terms like rotenburo and radio taisou are alien to her. An elementary school student absolutely knows what radio taisou is, but couldn't write the kanji whatsoever.

日本語って難しいよね。 ひらがなとカタカナがあって、それぞれ46文字に濁音と半濁音。 ローマ字でアルファベット26文字。 漢字は人名含むと常用で約3000文字。 しかも音読みだけではなく訓読みがあるから。 ベーちゃんがキレるのは当然w

It's a matter of perspective, it's maybe a couple thousand hours worth of work. If that's hard or not depends on if you have the time! It's not sustainable but foreigners speed run the exam all the time because they need to it to work in Japan.

このゲームでぱっと答えられるのは外国人のうちでは中華系と韓国人、あとはめちゃくちゃ漢字を勉強した人で無いと難しいと思います。漢字圏の国の人であるかどうかが決定的になりがちですね。
