@Tristan H. - Before the drink was popular and became a Global sensation…the drink was originally called Boba Tea, Pearl Milk Tea, or Milk Tea, and NEVER “Bubble Tea”, until now.

I'm surprised that you didn't find the '波霸奶茶大福(Boba milk tea mochi)' in the snack section at costco. maybe it's just the costco warehouse that you went to didn't carry it.
Oooooo, Boba/bubble tea (珍珠茶), pineapple cake (鳳梨穌) and mochi (麻糬) are also popular in America, it is surprising. And I like to eat and drink these Taiwanese treats, during and after vacations in Taiwan.
美國Costco 現在很多台灣產品!很開心!還有德國單人牌Zwilling的cutting board,也是Made in Taiwan.

In original definition bubble tea doesn’t have those chewy “pearls”. If you add the pearls, it becomes “pearl milk tea”. There’s different sizes of pearls commonly used. The largest, black ones which contain caramel or brown sugar, are called Bobas 波霸 (which is a term taken from Hong Kong movies describing female body parts). The smallest pearl was the original version, usually brown or white, called Fen Yuan 粉圓, which you can still find in shaved ice as toppings or served in lemonade.

yup, I understand that... even singapore, which you can say somehow "close", maybe around 1 or 2 years ago taiwan beef noodle appear...

Did you try Chicago , Illinois.... there have a lot of Chinese, Japanese and Korean supermarket is not far from where did you living at Lincoln, Nebraska. I welcome to you and your families to Chicago Illinois to visit....
Even though the local Asian population is the largest in the US, our Costco stores don't stock Taiwanese products as part of their standard offer. Only occasionally do we see Taiwanese products. So what you have found that day may not be found again for a long time.

I have tried many Taiwanese brand electronic products and appliances. I found them to be a lot more reliable than Samsung products by far.

加拿大多倫多的 Costco 也有那個珍珠奶茶冰棒⋯⋯不過沒買過。你拍的很可愛啊!(It’s a compliment.)
OMG! That's the Lincoln shopping mall!!! 身為在林肯待過兩年的台灣人, 看到妳的影片,感覺好熟悉喔!!林肯是我第二個家! And I guess you'll visit the Oriental Market? That's the one I always went to :) Just subscribed!!! :D
I am curious if anyone there (Nebraska) will eat those boba snacks. It is so white there unlike the west coast (I am in Portland) with larger Asian (even Taiwanese) population 😀
