1. do + 原形動詞 : 表強調 (It’s emphasizing the verb.) You did do a good job! 你確實做得很好! cf. You did a good job. You did it well. 2. You didn’t do a bad job. (double negative 雙重否定) (不是做得不好，也不是做得好，kind of in the middle.) I didn’t not like the movie, but I wouldn’t watch it again. (我沒有不喜歡，但是我不想再看一遍) I didn’t not like it, but it was kind of expensive for such portions. 3. This is not to be missed. 不要錯過某件事情 cf. 跟 Don’t miss it. 相比，This is not to be missed. 比較 general (範圍比較廣) Albert’s concert is not to be missed. Albert的演唱會不容錯過。 This food in the night market is not to be missed. 這些夜市美食不容錯過。

因為這是個語言教學頻道 對任何語言都應該有正確認知 所以忍不住想說：台語也是有「規範用字」的 比方說縮圖的「蝦毀」應該寫作「啥貨」 其他用字可以參考twblg.dict.edu.tw/holodict_new/default.jsp 不要再說台語沒字了 可能有人會說「看得懂就好」 但我們從小學英文、華語 完全不能接受看得懂就好吧 台語沒有低人一等，當然也不能接受看得懂就好 再者，諧音字沒有一致標準 100人可能有101種寫法 實在也是妨礙閱讀 可能有人又會說教育部那些字根本看不懂 很簡單，聽說讀寫都需要學 你沒學讀、寫當然會看不懂啊 英文也是同一個道理，學了之後才會 會聽會說不代表會讀會寫 會聽說不會讀寫，也不代表你就有資格質疑讀寫系統 就好比有些外國人來台灣很會講中文，但卻看不懂中文字 我想應該沒人認為這類的外國人有資格質疑中文字的書寫吧 還有可能有人會說台語漢字都是亂編的 要知道，漢字一開始只有文言文 而文言文跟白話文的用詞完全不是一回事 如果要把白話文寫出來，當然會遇到有音無字的情形 這時候要嘛借字，要嘛造字 而且這也不是只有台語才這樣 現在中文表示所有格的「的」、副詞的「得」、「地」都是新創用法 的、得、地在古時候根本沒有所有格、副詞的用法 其他像是「吃」、「喝」也都是新創用法 這些都是當初在推白話文的時候「亂編」出來的 而這些新創用法也是當初幾個少數專家就直接決定的 中文可以「亂編」，台語憑什麼不行？ 講那麼多 只是希望大家能把台語當作是一個正經的語言 這個正經的語言有她自己一套正經的寫法 寫對字才是對一個語言的尊重
