Conrad Feininger is still the best narrator. As far as I'm concerned this is _the definitive voice_ for Lovecraft's work. His pitch, tone, accent and cadence are just the perfect match for the literature here.

I wish I could find recordings of all of Lovecraft's stuff including the mound that are straight from radio recordings or something similar. Listening to older quality like this is the real way

Far superior to anything else I've heard. I don't feel like I'm hearing a Lovecraft story if it not in this old radio gravely voice. Too many modern readers are overly dramatic.

That end is worthy of comparison to M. Night Shamalyan. Lovecraft is the grandfather of modern day sci-fi horror.

unless the Town chose to be called "Ins-Mouth" instead of "Ins-Muth" or it locally became that way over time. Plenty of reasons it could be either. Also fish men arent real. Shouldnt that offend you too?
