Hero is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Subhash Ghai. Starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri, it marked Shroff's debut in a lead role.
Its music directors were Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Upon release, it became a blockbuster at the box office and established Shroff as a leading Bollywood actor.
Plot : In order to settle scores with a police commissioner, a gangster hires a hitman, Jackie to abduct his daughter, Radha. But Jackie ends up falling in love with her and undergoes a transformation.

Yes I watched this movie when I was a child and I also remember another movie named Betaab, Sunny Deol and one heroine. Amrita Kapoor. Hired VCR and colour TV for a night at home. Snake and Monkey Shadow and Return of Dragon Bruce lee along with it. Some kind of Jagrun was there. I guess I was in Standard 8th that time. My house was full with neighbours and friends.
