H.R.Giger inspired Alien Bar rebuild Part 3: Epoxy Resin River Table

As I mentioned, the theme of my bar is the end scene from the movie Alien 3. Officer Ellen Ripley jumps into molten metal with a Queen Chestburster.
In this video, you see the process of grinding the plate, preparing the mould and pouring the „river“. Silvester some shitheads damaged a bus station and after 3 days I collected the shattered glass, washed it and take it as the riverbed. Onto that, I poured different layers of epoxy kandydip.de/ec...
The wood around the river was oiled with Osmo TopOil (3 coats) and after drying, it feels great!!

After pouring 13 layers of epoxy incl. placing Ellen Ripley, the bar plate was screwed onto the bar. In part 4 you’ll see the light installation etc.
