I beg to differ! If you read the lyrics, the piece needs this tempo to be convincing. In my opinion, that is :-). I have heard this piece performed like a slow romance, and the lyrics lost all meaning. But we all have different feelings about it :-).

Belle interprétation. La soprano manque parfois de douceur dans sa voix notamment au début du morceau
