Cheers for sharing this info, I find it interesting how Universal Studios had a H.R. Pufnstuf set tour. It reminds me of some hidden gems the Kroffts worked on like Tales of the Okefenokee at Six Flags over Georgia.

Yeah! just sucks alot of these events dont have much footage or documentation in general , especially events like this and the Tournament of Roses parade i covered before where they used the Screen Used Pufnstuf costumes.

Wow! I always thought they started with 6 Flags?

I thought the first 3 Six Flags parks Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Over Georgia, and Six Flags St. Louis where the only ones that had the H.R. Puff N Stuff characters.

Nope! Turns out Universal Studios had Pufnstuf there too , and just any Pufnstuf costumes , The ones used on the actual sets of the TV show!

@@STTechin I think it was because Universal distributed the "Pufnstuf" movie.

@@disneyfan8178 Yeah , I believe the TV show was also filmed at Universal. So that's prob how they had access to both Movie and TV Show costumes.
@disneyfan81788 ай бұрын
@@STTechin Actually, not quite. While the movie may have been done at Universal, the show was filmed at Paramount.

Hey, in this interview with Billie Hayes from 1969 she talks briefly about the exhibit, saying the Witchiepoo dummy even scared her. I thought it was on the studio lot originally but now your video has brought in some much needed context. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKbRlHlqhtuepaMsi=JDt0M7LdWm77rp1Y

OMG for some reason KZbin held this Comment under review so I didn't see it for a while , my apologies. I'm glad my video helped provide more context regarding the exhibit!
