I saw in the 1970s in Paris Madame Kinshi Tsuruta playing this masterpiece. I have an unforgettable memory o it!

@@guylelong7762 J'imagine ! Ecouter le disque est déjà une grande expérience ! Ce morceau, interprété par Kinshi Tsuruta, est au coeur d'un des épisodes du film Kwaïdan, où un musicien aveugle est engagé par les fantômes des victimes de Dan-no-ura pour leur jouer cette épopée.

I love how the majority of the best Biwa players I've seen (modernly) are all women (this included). There are different types of Biwa meant for men/women but now it's interchangable if you're like me and are taller than the average American male so your fingers on a female anything is laughable at best...
