When they say stock block 5.3 that s*** cracks me up to me a stock block is stock Pistons,rings,rods, everything stock from the factory not stock bore and then Forged pistons, and rings and rods,ect

You can put good internals in a stock block but it's only limited to so much...that's why they don't call it a stock engine just the block is stock, as cast from the factory
