His World is already a sort of rap song by English standards. It's more lyrical than most, however.

If I'm correct, it's not exactly a genre of its own but rather a styling element used in various subgenres of rock music. It's rather popular in Pop-Punk with bands like Zebrahead, Sum 41 or Chronic Future, but it's also present in other genres such as Nu-Metal with Linkin Park (R.I.P) or Epic Rock (is that really the actual name of the genre btw?) with The Score. Either way, I'd say it's closer to being a rock song with rapped lyrics than a full blown rap song. Regardless, you're right, this was already present in the original (English) version.

Hey! Great cover! I love the fact that you went out of your way to make most of the lyrics rhyme which, if I'm not mistaken, is a much less common practice in Japan as it is in western countries.
