Because it's clearly one of his tame animals that he's already muzzled and placed inside, possibly with the connivance of the film crew, who knows... but certainly there's no way a person with no protection - not even gloves - crawls headfirst into a Wild Hyena's den, muzzles it and forcibly drags it out.
