in fact, you can read all over the internet that sclarene is a new molecule, but that's not true. this family of molecules date back to the 1930s and the first perfume in which it was used was Chanel No. 5. here I believe it is the sclarene n12 used with its typical iron smell. It revolutionized the world of perfumery for certain intrinsic qualities that a perfume can have you like increased performance.

Maybe you found the “damp, soapy cloth being ironed” smell as comforting? The soap smell was there for my nose. Btw, I am a woman and I picked this. Been on the look out for a masculine-leaning unisex fragrance for long.
