You know what's crazy? The history likes to repeat itself and Emma is probably the only one who still wears the locket, like Miss Chatham. Cleo probably lost hers, or thrown it away somewhere like Gracie. And Rikki kept hers like Julia but she doesn't really care about is as much anymore (in Mako Mermaids she is shown to not wear the locket or the crystal, hinting she has lost contact with Emma, Cleo and Bella). I won't be surprised if in the distant future Emma will somehow guide the new generation of mermaids like Miss Chatham. But it means Cleo would be dead by this time and later it would be revealed that Rikki has passed away too, with her locker being found by this new future mermaid girl and her boyfriend in the same jewelry shop, from deceased estate. I'M CRYING. OMG.

Actually it seems like Rikki is the one that is turning into Mrs Chattam cos she is the only one who stayed there and didnt take the change so easily as Emma or Cleo. She was pretended to be so sentimental on her play on mako mermaid although she tried to hide it. And something i never understand it's that Cleo wore Emma's locket all season 3 cos she had the blue one on season 2 and in season 3 her locket have been seen with the clear crystal. I think they wanted to let us think that Emma gave her the locket before leaving to the world tour in order to havving the 3 lockets always near...but i don't know...

I always felt bad for the original mermaids. They were such good friends and started to disappear from each others' lives. Gracie was first, then Julia, and left Louise, with her necklace, never forgetting their secret and friendship while the others move on. I feel specially sad for her.

I love how the 1955 flashback scenes were done, with attention to fashion, and Carl's camera. This show has an uncanny knack of history repeating itself. Louise is obviously Emma, Gracie is Cleo, Julia is Rikki, Carl is Zane, and Max is Lewis. They all wear the right lockets, and even the hair colour matches. Louise performed the only known offshore rescue, and Emma rescued Zane offshore. Gracie pushed Max away, and Cleo pushed Lewis away: which is what makes the Sea Change rescue so significant. What's more, Emma's mother Lisa rescued Zane's father Harrison from a minor surfing accident: and Rikki rescued Lisa's son Elliot in a likewise manner. Of course, Rikki's "angel" rescue remains the best rescue in the series. You could do a video on the rescue scenes.

Or if she said it was fifty years ago: I don't remember. At any rate, Louise is exactly 15 + 50 = 65, and 50 years prior is 1955. The fashion styles are about mid-50's, but I can't pin that down exactly. You could try to match the exact model of Carl's camera. I have to play The Gracie Code Pt 1 again. Did Max say it was 1955?

it went from the h2o 1900's and the h2o 2000's then Mako mermaids. I Honestly don't like mako mermaids in my opinion since I was a big fan of the original H2O but forever H2O (and it ends to the point where emma moves away and cleo ends up in vampire diaries XDD)
