As someone who has worked on podcasts, I find it baffling that they have crews of like 5-10 people. Is actually embarrassing how easy it is to set things up, I actually wonder what half the staff on the h3 podcast even do? Like do they just sit on the screen for a funny reaction?

They do 3-4 3 hour Podcasts weekly. They research topics, find clips, research guests, get updates on pop culture and the news, Cam makes memes live during the show which honestly r hilarious, Zack does sound bites that cater to any and every topic, Dan does is the everything guy cameras, tech, it’s a live show 4 days a week for HOURS. It isn’t a guy recording himself on an iPhone in his basement talking about X and then editing it to upload to KZbin.

@@TiffanyMaryJean H3 has a good production I’m not saying it’s bad, but their set up really only needs about 3-5 people at most, and i See like 10 people. I know how live broadcasting works and I can assure you one person can set cameras up, audio and go live no matter the quality of the equipment. I like Dan a lot because I can tell he genuinely talented at his job, i assumed he does most of the work. I just wondered what the rest of them do (the newer ones). Even News broadcasting company’s i worked for, literally only need a few guys to run a live show, but behind the scenes I fully understand like 10 man staff (editors, socials, graphics). it’s just like… do they all need to be on camera lol? Do they all need to be there? No they don’t. But I don’t run H3 and they can hire whoever tf they want, I’m just baffled they have so many people during the live show.

​@@TheBman57the usual ones on camera are Zach, AB, Dan, Cam, Olivia, and Love. Ian works behind the scenes. And Sam and Lena also work for teddy fresh or other projects (goofs and gafs for the podcast). The way they became part of the podcast happened organically. I guess it's a lot of ppl lol but tbh I can't imagine it any other way they all contribute to what the podcast is now

I used to watch H3H3 years ago. I remember people sending super chats they would never acknowledge. When people would complain Dan and Ethan would berate them. So ungrateful

the whole "donations" thing streamers do especially twitch streamers (ethan klien is bad with it but not as bad as twitch streamers) goes completely against what a donation even is. donations are charities for a good cause or for people in need, not for some stupid streamer who is already a millionaire! thats just giving a rich person money!

I subscribed to h3h3 during the heyday of “montage parodies” and the rise of “meme” humor on KZbin. He had about 8 thousand subscribers at the time and the first video I remember him uploading; I can’t even find reuploads or mirrors of today. That being said; watching him turn from a boring channel to a funny channel to the worst content on the entire internet has been an interesting ride.
