Best way to be ok being kicked by a horse is to have your arm in the way. Like with the hugging thing, if your pressing with your arm against their leg (while picking their feet out) they cant get a good length of kick going. When I was a kid I rode a pony who would kick out at me while I did his feet and I would just grab and hold his foot until he stopped struggling. But he was little and now I have glasses so lack that level of spacial awareness for that type of reaction time. But staying up close wont stop you from being stomped on or bitten if they decided to really go for it.

I always *hated* his utilitarianism excuse. Utilitarianism usually cares about overall happiness or suffering of *everyone* , not just adults. They look at statistics and most will show the harm of CSA to children - act utilitarianism deems that wrong. In the past CSA was punished less, but we’ve seen how children would have problems later or recreate the abuse when they’re older - CSA increased overall suffering long term, so rule utilitarianism deems that wrong. ALSO, utilitarianism tends to favor the majority. P3dos are a minority so their interests are far outweighed by the interests parents and children in children’s safety. Most utilitarians would say CSA is wrong! Vaush is really just a sick hedonist, because all he cares about is satisfying his own desires and everyone else can screw themselves

if im being 100% fair, there could be people who just "fall for" their favorite characters and don't necessarily have an interest outside of that. There is a valid argument for at least consumables like coffee and chocolate which have minimal harms on the workers when farming. If you live in a third world country, you are fighting for a job to make a few cents per hour to feed yourself and family. In the case of child labor in coffee & chocolate, you can argue the child is not harmed by the production of said products, and also that by purchasing these things you are supporting them being able to have an income and put food on the table. If you take away the child's income, you've taken the parents income, thereby giving the parent and child a lower standard of living and thereby harming the child. When I get coffee from Guatemala, I ask my Mom to buy it from the least fortunate person she can find in order to support them and give them income. Cobalt is a different story because of the health hazards involved, especially with the way they mine cobalt. Further more, even in the first world, we have child labor. How many kids work on a farm (with or without pay)? I worked on a farm, picking rocks and doing other chores as a child. Picking rocks itself is not fun, but we thought it was fun because we took turns driving the equipment on private property (no license needed). No one was put at health risk, just like in my coffee/chocolate comparison above. It is better to educate how to keep/maintain a job to pay for life and keep busy with work rather than other unproductive things. If in the first world, we need two parents income to put food on the table, how many incomes do you need to put food on a table in a third world country? Probably 4 or 5 incomes are needed. Unless you have 5 parents, you have to send your child to work - just to be able to feed yourselves and survive.
