pan is capable of killing an unarmored opponent in two hits on the body or one hit to the head. The pan will also block bullets allowing it to act as a small shield. It blocks shots from all ranged weapons including shotguns and the AWM. For these reasons it is regarded as the best melee weapon.

I live in a college area, and a lot of the employees at our Target are students from out of town. There's an overnight shift from Wednesday night and shifts all day Thursday leading into Black Friday (which now starts at 6pm on Thursday) so you can imagine they schedule as many people as they can and a lot of us don't get to go home for Thanksgiving. It's pretty fucked up, but they pay time and a half so meh $$$. Also, anyone who shops on Black Friday, please be mindful of your fellow shoppers and the employees that are there working so you can enjoy your deals early; please understand that it's an incredibly busy night and even though stores are heavily staffed, it's usually still not enough to handle the crazy traffic. A little kindness and patience can go a long way. Sincerely, a retail employee
@babalabaloo111115 жыл бұрын
Darby Larson right! Screw anyone who goes shopping on thanksgiving, they’re literally the reasons that people have to be working instead of being with their families. If people just collectively decided to not be assholes and go shopping at 5 pm on thanksgiving, employees wouldn’t be scheduled

Black Friday was pretty chill for me. Everybody was relatively quiet, calm, and polite. Also, Blu-Rays are great. I was able to get four 4K Blu-Rays for 60 bucks when that would usually cost me 120. You can’t really get 4K movies digitally and physical media will always be better than digital media because it’s accessible at all times. Even when WIFI is down you can watch your movies and if you go to a friends house you can bring movies over to watch. You also don’t have to be worried about buffering or poor picture quality because what you get is what you get. No bullshit. Also, you can’t really show off a film collection on a TV screen or on your computer. A bookshelf full of movies is much more impressive and fulfilling than having a bunch of films saved onto your iTunes account or whatever. And imo, popping in a disc will always much more satisfying than clicking a button on your remote no matter what.

I work for walmart, and nothing pisses me off more than "black thursday". If you call in on Thanksgiving, you get 2 attendance strikes (you only get 4 for 6 months), and blacklisted by managers (they'll treat you like shit for a while). You do not get holiday pay for working Thanksgiving, instead you get an extra 15% off discount on top of our 10% discount card. BUT you have to work 2 days before Thanksgiving AND the day after. So if you have the day after off or the day before, you don't get the extra discount. Plus, you only get 2 days to use the discount. You also cannot request the day off in advanced. If you do, it'll be ignored or declined. Thanksgiving is the most important holiday to my family, because it was always the rare time we were all together. Then my dad's parents passed away about 2 years ago, and so the holiday became really difficult for him to deal with. Since that was his parents' favorite holiday. My nana always baked a shit ton of stuff and my papa would make a huge dinner. We'd spend the night playing cribbage and phase 10. These last 2 years without them has been hell for my dad, and I have never been able to be there for him on the hardest day he has to suffer through. Also, people go crazy over the dumbest items. We were selling PS4s, big tvs, and some type of xbox, but they weren't even the big sellers. People were after the clothes, toys, and cooking utensils. An insta pot was the most popular item this past year.

You're telling me that instead of going to Nigeria or some place to beat up the children and the elderly, I can go to America on Black Friday, walk into a big store and go ham?

My father in law is a sheriff and you’d think they’d be mad that they’d have to be posted at Walmart’s but they actually get paid a shit load of money by the hour. Like $40/$50 an hour to be security for those stores. Same for concerts and guarding gas stations. I can’t speak on behalf of everywhere else but that’s usually how it works here where I live.

Is that one where the lady takes the box from the kid even real? There's a bunch of them on the floor. Why wouldn't she take one of those? Seems staged to me.

The product is cheaper if you take it from a black kid's hands. Tust ignore the things that are on the floor.

Here down under (NZ and Australia), non-essential shops are required to close on public holidays like Christmas, New Years, Waitangi and Australia day, ANZAC day, easter, etc. The only things that remain open are things like 7-11 and Mcdonalds. You Americans should take note of this, it might help stop your black Friday rampages. Here in NZ, people have actually been fined for having their stores open on special public holidays.
