Shooting ducks on the water in n your spread is a compliment, killing it is the prize!! I see nothing wrong with it especially when you put the work in not it

You guys missed one of the biggest parts of Wisconsin waterfowl hunting Green Bay, Lake Michigan. You can field hunt anywhere, not many places you can open water hunt like the bay and the crazy numbers. Kind of sucks to see WI get represented this way

There is nothing unsportsmanlike about shooting a duck on the water, especially if you call it in, decoy it in, bring it in.......it is just more "challenging and fun"......but it is not unsporting

Adam Scott , What’s wrong with shooting birds that decoyed off the water? It’s a high percentage, lethal , and most importantly “legal” shot to take.

@@tonysmith3089 Also when you're only allowed one Harlequin a year it allows you to get a good look at it to make sure it's the bird that you really want for your wall.

Isn't the goal to completely fool the bird to thinking your decoys are real and you're calling is real. Why is not acceptable to you to fool the bird 100% down into the decoys and kill it when you have the highest percentage of hitting it. To me you are a better hunter if you can get those birds to sit in your spread and think its real instead of them getting 30 yards off the water and saying oh crap that's fake and you shooting and winging them.

Shooting em on the water is typically a head shot, no wasted meat. Nothing wrong with water swatting except for hurting snowflake’s feelings. So tender...
